More gorgeous babies

I have heaps more to post. I just have to get organised enough to do it and keep up with all the orders that need to be done before Christmas.

Here's Portia in the black & white triptych. The real photograph looks awesome. Showing it on here really doesn't do it justice.

Then we have Eliza who is just adorable.

Busy with babies! Sage

Another wonderful little model! I had some fun trying out some new Photoshop techniques and textures on a few photos of Sage.

What a Charmer

Eliza was delightful to photograph. And the results, well, there's no way I could choose just one favourite. I put this collage together and even that is just the tip of the iceberg of great shots of this adorable little girl.

Busy With Babies!

Impressionable Kids is up and running with lots of parents taking advantage of the complimentary portrait sitting and photo to go with their baby's hand and feet sculptures. I forgot to ask the first few parents if they minded me posting some photos but I've got a system going now and I can start sharing some of my favourites with you.
Here's some of Tyler. Two weeks old and simply adorable. There's something so peaceful about a sleeping baby.

This is why I do what I do.

Capturing the love and laughter between Naomi, Esther and their Dad Phil was a pure delight. I think they had nearly as much fun as I did for the hour and a half we wandered around finding great spots for photos at the end of Cooroora Street last weekend. The girls shouted Dad the session for his 50th birthday and we captured lots of special images of a very special relationship. Happy birthday, Phil.

I don't know if they always get on this well but I didn't see any signs of sibling rivalry. Just a great friendship.

Esther thought I was a bit mad sticking them behind some boring grass but she changed her mind once she saw it the way I did.

A last minute decision to bring the Benelli along turned out to be a wise one. Phil got some bonus images of his other pride and joy!

I got a lot out of seeing the girls with their Dad. My Dad died of a heart attack when he was 50. We didn't have a close relationship but his passing eliminated the hope that one day we might. It was very special to see the bond Esther and Naomi have with their Dad and to see the love and pride Phil has for his daughters. I feel honoured to have glimpsed a small part of their world.
Thanks guys!

Happy Hunter

We tried again this week to get a photo of Hunter at the park but he wasn't having it. He was much happier playing at home and I especially adore this first shot of him.

And an action shot of Jordan.

Gorgeous Girls

Three very lively and energetic young ladies!
I'm collaborating with Suzel Doughty who runs Impressionable Kids here on the coast. If you choose to have one of the hands and feet sculptures, you can get a professional photograph provided by me at absolutely no extra cost. What a great deal!

Oh, to be a kid again.

Isn't that just the most angelic face? I bet his Mum might argue about whether he's quite so angelic if things don't go his way!

Look at the pure joy! He's bursting with it. Wouldn't you love to feel that way just running up the beach to show your Dad a shell?

Jordan (above) stole the show on the day but it was Hunter who we really wanted to get photos of for his first Birthday. He just wasn't interested and let us know in no uncertain terms how he felt about it. There are times when I wish I could express myself so succinctly.

Heading to the water was the only thing on Hunter's mind and he showed his appreciation once he finally broke down Mum's resistance and she let him get wet.

GIrraween

I was fortunate to be able to spend a few days with a friend in the cutest little cottage in the Granite Belt last week. Going to Girraween National Park has been on my "To Do" list for a long time and the opportunity to go in Spring to photograph the wildflowers was an absolute bonus.

Just up the road from Girraween, Wisteria Cottages exceeded my expectations and you simply have to experience the Brekky basket and fresh bread each morning to truly appreciate it.
