Hats, ribbons, tutus etc etc!

Hi, I hope you are all having a lovely weekend, the weather has been simply gorgeous here on the Sunshine Coast, it's hard to believe this is called Winter! This morning we had a couple of great studio sessions and I just wanted to share a couple of images from a lovely session we had with this family. We had hats, ribbons, flowers, blankets and more to play with so it was lots of fun!

Have a good rest of the weekend, and if you're about tomorrow in Coolum I will be at the Kaleidoscope Market at the Civic Centre from 9am until 1pm. So maybe see you there! Sarah :)

Introducing Relaxed & Fun Family Portrait Mini Sessions

It's been a gorgeous day here on the Sunshine Coast.  A beautiful morning, blue skies and yes, the sun was even shining!... just perfect to introduce our Family Portrait Mini Sessions! Photographed in our lovely, landscaped, local park near Caloundra, Mini Sessions are ideal for updating your family portrait in a relaxed environment; no stress, no hassle. Just a wander through our local park with the kids, and you end up with precious memories of their growing years in a beautiful natural setting.

So back to our session this morning, our little family were just perfect; relaxed, fun and great to photograph! Here are just a few sneak preview shots from their session... so many lovely ones to choose from.

Give us a call if you would like to find out more about our Mini Sessions.

Enjoy! Sarah

The flowers will die and she really doesn't need the chocolate...

Give Mum a gift that lasts. Precious memories of a time that goes by so fast.
Call us now (well, not right now. It's late on Easter Monday/ANZAC day). Call us this week and book in to get Professional Portraits of your family.  p. 07 5492 6490
Don't let another year slip by.

Don't forget the grandparents! They won't be around forever. (Too morbid? Sorry, but it's true. All my grandparents have now passed on and all I have left are the photos and the memories). Trust me, don't wait 'til it's too late.

Capture their personalities. Soon you'll be celebrating their 21st birthday and wondering where the years went. (Trust me again, I know. My baby turns 21 this year!)

Our style is relaxed, natural and fun. Capturing the personalities, the emotions and the love.

Bubbles

So much to do. Busy, busy, busy. So many great photos to share and only time for one favourite at the moment. I just love it.

Family Photography

I get such lovely results using the natural light coming in the studio doors that I rarely use the studio flash at all anymore. These guys were great to photograph. I love the last one, such a classic look for a teenage boy.

Sisters

I'm playing catch-up on the blog. Here are sweet sisters, Chelsea and Brianna from back in April.

Saskia - Baby Photography

Saskia came in to have her photograph taken for her hands and feet frame from Impressionable Kids and took the opportunity to have some photos with her two big brothers. I have two big brothers too, but I'm sure they didn't adore me the way these two adore their little sister!

5, 3 & 8 month-old-twins

The good thing about having a small shooting space means they can't run far! I think we all anticipated this could be a challenge getting all 4 kids to cooperate at the same time but I think we did an amazing job. No tears, no tantrums - just gorgeous kids. Phew!

Family Portraits on the beach (and the park)

Time for a break from Cambodia photos (don't worry, plenty more to come, haha), and time to share some of the great families I've gotten to photograph since I've been back. Let's start with Corinne's crew playing in the park and frolicking on the sand at Golden Beach. Gorgeous girls, one who was really keen to help me out, the other was really keen to completely ignore me.

Photographing Siblings

At this age, trying to get both kids to cooperate can sometimes be a challenge, but Samuel and Sophie were champions. Sophie simply slept through the proceedings, making her a very compliant client. And Sam, well, cute as a button and willing to do what we asked as long as it meant he could cuddle the pussy cat! And Damascus is quite the model himself, posing quite willingly with Sam for a couple of reward shots at the end of the session.
