Mapleton Magic and the last 'hurrah'

As delightful as weddings are, and this one especially so, we'd like to take this opportunity to announce that Wild Honey Photography are no longer taking bookings for wedding photography. We are now exclusively specialising in family portraiture on the Sunshine Coast.

So congratulations to Lynda and David, not only on the start of their married life, but on being our lucky last wedding clients (ok, never say never, but, you know, we're not actively out there looking for weddings to photograph).  The Sunshine Coast Hinterland at Boorman Eco Lodge provided the setting for a gorgeous day.  Sunny blue skies, fantastic scenery, a vintage theme and lovely, lovely people, what more could you ask for.

Sarah had a wonderful time sharing in Lynda and David's special day and capturing all the special little details that Lynda went to so much trouble to organise.

From the Bush to the Beach - Wedding

If Nigel and Jess were nervous on their big day they did a good job of hiding it. They matched our motto perfectly, Relaxed, Natural and Fun. With the ceremony in the lovely chapel at Solothurn Rural Resort, out past Maleny, we dodged a few puddles to capture some memories in the surrounding grounds before heading to Mooloolaba just in time to catch the last light of the day and have some fun on the beach. The bridal party were great value and the flower girl was a trooper all day.

Beautiful Beach Wedding at Kings Beach, Caloundra

What a beautiful day it was when Natalie and Brendan were married on Kings Beach in Caloundra; just perfect for a ceremony on the beach! After their service they released some beautiful butterflies - which seemed reluctant to leave and took a special liking to Natalie's dress so we were lucky enough to capture a couple of them before they flew off. We carried on to the park for some fun photos with the bridal party before heading to Happy Valley for celebratory drinks and some more fun and romantic sunset photos. The party continued into the evening at Tides on the Boardwalk. Congratulations to Natalie and Brendan, and thanks for sharing your special day with us!
