Bouncing between the sunny Sunshine Coast and moody Melbourne, Wild Honey Photography is metamorphosing into a new direction. Offering the ideal way of learning or improving your photography by going on short get-a-ways with an experienced photography teacher. We're still in the chrysalis right now but watch out when we emerge. It's gonna be beautiful.

Gorgeous Girls

Three very lively and energetic young ladies!
I'm collaborating with Suzel Doughty who runs Impressionable Kids here on the coast. If you choose to have one of the hands and feet sculptures, you can get a professional photograph provided by me at absolutely no extra cost. What a great deal!

Oh, to be a kid again.

Isn't that just the most angelic face? I bet his Mum might argue about whether he's quite so angelic if things don't go his way!

Look at the pure joy! He's bursting with it. Wouldn't you love to feel that way just running up the beach to show your Dad a shell?

Jordan (above) stole the show on the day but it was Hunter who we really wanted to get photos of for his first Birthday. He just wasn't interested and let us know in no uncertain terms how he felt about it. There are times when I wish I could express myself so succinctly.

Heading to the water was the only thing on Hunter's mind and he showed his appreciation once he finally broke down Mum's resistance and she let him get wet.

GIrraween
I was fortunate to be able to spend a few days with a friend in the cutest little cottage in the Granite Belt last week. Going to Girraween National Park has been on my "To Do" list for a long time and the opportunity to go in Spring to photograph the wildflowers was an absolute bonus.

Just up the road from Girraween, Wisteria Cottages exceeded my expectations and you simply have to experience the Brekky basket and fresh bread each morning to truly appreciate it.

Alice, Alice. Who the ...
... never mind. Funny how some songs get stuck in your head.
Yes, I've been slack. Bekky's School Drama Production was... so long ago now I can't even remember. July maybe? Anyway, here are a few of my faves of her performing some wild and wacky characters in The Twelve Worlds of Wonder. A hilarious spoof (with an underlying message of course) of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland.

07/07/07 Wedding
Bree & Damien's wedding was a blast! Great people, great location, great light and masquerade masks to top it off.
It's always hard to choose just one favourite, especially with so many nice ones in the late afternoon light, but this one does it for me this time. I'd love to see this one printed wall poster size. It might be a bit busy for some but I love all the different elements.

Damien glancing out the window, getting just a little bit worried that Bree was late.

I hope Damien likes the symmetry of this shot. (Hey guys, do I get 5 points for mentioning symmetry(in joke. ya had to be there))

Bree was so happy and relaxed, even before the champers! The only sign of a nervous bride was her quick march up the aisle.

Gotta love that sunlight.

Playing with shadows.

Love the colour of the girls dresses.

The light was just dreamy.

A natural arch.

I love the solid framing from the tree while Bree and Damien share a tender moment. Oh, and the colours are yummy.

I gotta say this is a first. Masquerade masks at the reception. It was a lot of fun.
