A rock a day

I'm taking some time out from processing photos to put up a quick post. And of all the photos to choose from, right at this point in time, these are the ones that appeal to me. Jo Tito was one of the many artists contributing to the Floating Land line up at Boreen Point and I caught her in a quiet moment painting a rock (or stone). If I have the story correct, I believe she is endeavouring to paint a rock every day for the year. I've heard of lots of photographers taking a photo a day, but taking time out to paint a rock strikes me as a form of meditation and just looking at the photos made me feel peaceful.
Cheers
Deb

PS. Can anyone tell me the difference between a rock and a stone?

Hats, ribbons, tutus etc etc!

Hi, I hope you are all having a lovely weekend, the weather has been simply gorgeous here on the Sunshine Coast, it's hard to believe this is called Winter! This morning we had a couple of great studio sessions and I just wanted to share a couple of images from a lovely session we had with this family. We had hats, ribbons, flowers, blankets and more to play with so it was lots of fun!

Have a good rest of the weekend, and if you're about tomorrow in Coolum I will be at the Kaleidoscope Market at the Civic Centre from 9am until 1pm. So maybe see you there! Sarah :)

Pretty in Pink!

Well it seems that I've already got behind in my blogging and Facebooking, oops! The past couple of weeks have been so busy that I am currently in the midst of processing all the lovely photo sessions we've been having - so many photos that I'd like to show you (coming soon!) Anyway in the meantime I thought I would share a couple of images from a session I had last week with this cute little bub all pretty in pink! :) Sarah

Getting in early for Christmas!

Well today was officially the first day of Winter and it felt like it first thing this morning! I had the heater going in the studio so it was all warm and cosy for photographing our little babes.

Below are a couple of shots from one of my sessions this morning. Tahlia's mum brought in a little Christmas outfit so she is able to get her greeting cards made early - and doesn't Tahlia look cute in it? I wish I could be that organised. Knowing me I'll probably be rushing around Christmas Eve as usual! Sarah :)
